i just finished an AMAZING book.  i am telling you...AMAZING.  Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold.  This book is haunting me and staying with me, and i am glad i read it,but is wish it didnt have this affect on me.

it was so sad, i cried off and on throughout the entire book.  it is very dark and sad at times, adn then very touching and real and just amazing.

i recommend this book to anyone, but i also recommend that after you read it, you should read a happy, fluffy book right after it, or watch  a happy fluffy movie.  this book made me afraid to walk my dogs in the dark.  but it was so intoxicating, that i read it in one day.  it is not a short book, so it took me 12 hours straight of reading!  i did take brakes to eat dinner with tom or use the bathroom or walk my dogs.  but i actually started reading the book at 2 in the afternoon, and finished at around 2 in the morning.

i am so excited to start reading a new book.  i cant wait to read something new and excitiong.  i love being in my book club because it brings me so much happiness to have something fun to do.  it makes me a happy person when i am busy doing positive things.  i guess that is common sense, but i find that i often do not do enough things for me.  i do things for other people, for tom and my dogs, but not things just for me.  reading is something i do just for me.

so everyone should read lovely bones.  it is amazing!!

tonight is my class reunion....10 years out of high school.

i feel so old.

i am getting so old.

i am excited but a little depressed.  i want to look good tonight, but i am definitely not in the same shape that i was in over the summer. i have some of the holiday pudge going on in my stomach area.

i dont want anyone to say "is coreen pregnant?"

that would just suck.

I realized lately that I really miss reading. I have not been reading at all lately. usually over the summer i literally devour books. I read at least a book a week, or sometimes 2 a week depending on how into the book I am or how long it is.

I need to make time to read. I really miss reading. for me, reading is a sort of "escape" from reality. i need to find a good book. I am not going to spend money on a book...i think i will go to the library and see if there are any good books out there.

when i go to my own journal, there are all these stupid advertisements to click on. i wonder if this is true for everyone. when i click on other people's journals, i dont see these advertisements. but when i am looking at my own, i do.

i love this...i found it from a community that i am in. you can see how popular your name may have been in the year you were born. my name: Coreen, will never be on any list ever. and i actually like it that way. although, when i was a kid, i was pretty pissed at my parents for naming me that.
